Hotel Henry (Buffalo, NY)
Artist Liaison + Curator, 2016 - 2018
A modern hotel with traditional bones, this unique property was originally The Richardson Olmsted Complex (and the Buffalo State Asylum).
As lead curator on this project, I worked with Deborah Berke Partners to develop an art program that combined local flavor with high-end design to reactivate this National Historic Landmark. Overseeing all aspects of the Guest Room and Public Space design, I sourced artwork predominantly from budding Buffalo artists, supervised the production of over 100 framed prints and sculptures, and coordinated their installation on-site.
