PROBLEM
This European brand, a new player in the United States, came to Indiewalls looking for a way to incorporate a local signature into an international brand.
SOLUTION
I commissioned six artists - all whom specialized in unique materials - to successfully merge AC’s organic aesthetic with regional inspiration. A topographically-inspired leather artwork harkened back to the city’s cowboy culture; several larger-than-life felt panels mimicked the the flow of local rivers; a raw crystal evocative of blue topaz, the state gemstone, emerges dramatically from stone; each of these artworks helped elevate the brand’s purposeful design.
